Old House sold...

... now we focus on moving. Some boxes with stuff have already been moved over. The masterbedroom and the hallway still needs some paint, the tiling in the bathrooms has to be finished and the floor needs to be laid in the bedroom and the hallway. We hope to be so far done after this weekend that the plumber can connect everything next week so we can apply for permisssion to live there at Vikna kommune. We are in fact getting close to living there. We aim for end of November. :-)

While Roger and me were preparing the old house for the viewing tomorrow we had his parents who were helping us a lot in the new house so we can finish the inside work soon. Thanks a lot for the big help!

Plastering: Checkmark!

Today I finished the plastering of the hallway, the last bit in the master bedroom and the small living room. I started sanding it down and I hope it will all turn out just fine so the priming can begin.

We also put some plasterboards in the storage area in the basement. This has been treated over the weekend and today I primed it once to protect the surface. Now we can put up some shelves and start to move some stuff over to the new house.

The old house has been put out for sale now. Viewing will be next Monday. Hopefully everything will go smooth with the sale.

Plumbing

Today the plumber came and put up the frame for the wall mounted toilets in both bathrooms. He also connected all the pipes in between the modules so we can screw on the last wall sheets now and finish the plastering and painting.

The entrance area is also built up now.

Entrance area & fire place

Trønder Element returned to install the fire place and the entrance area of the house today. Latter they could not finish cause the crane that is used to build up the house of our neighbours did not reach to lift the roof section of the entrance area. Tomorrow comes another crane so they can finish the job.

Inside plastering continues. Tomorrow the plumber comes so hopefully we will be able to put the last wall sheets in place and can maybe finish plastering and painting this weekend. We will see...

Kitchen: Checkmark!

We finished off the kitchen with exception for the window post.

Small bathroom and hallway

Focus this week is to get the tiling done in the small bathroom and the plastering in the hallway as well as the little office/tv-room. And this is how far we have come this evening.
